Douglas Jaul, DDS
Dr. Jaul became interested in orthodontics while performing craniofacial research at the University of Michigan where he also received his undergraduate and dental degrees. He received his certificate in orthodontics from the University of California San Francisco where he also met his wife.
He is certified by the American Board of Orthodontics. And has been a member of all the related dental organizations including the Edward H. Angle Society which is by invitation only and which he was a past president. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of California, Davis School of Medicine for their Cleft and Craniofacial program and helps the senior orthodontic residents at the University of the Pacific prepare for the American Board Examination. He serves as a consultant for the Dental Board of California and has served on the California Orthodontic Peer Review committee for over 10 years. He is currently a Director for the California Association of Orthodontists.
Dr. Jaul has practiced in Auburn since 1982. His kids were born and raised in Auburn. In his spare time, he enjoys just about anything to do with the outdoors. This winter you’ll find him teaching skiing at Northstar on the weekends.
